I can assure you this is not 50 pounds I am complaining about.  I lost one customer over 380 pounds and another over 290 pounds, and still having issues with paypal.   As for whining inside this forum, we are reaching out via this public place to ask people to please complain through the correct channels, as I have done.  It would appear to be more than just a minor amount of people being inconvenienced in this manner.  And as I have completed 10 withdrawal transactions over the past three days and 100% are still in pending status - and seem to be well onto the 72hr "standard" I feel I have just as much right to vent as any other member.   As for the independant forum, sounds great idea to me and I am sure you will see the full scale of what is happening here.     ... David,   As your customers seem to be getting no feasible response to our concerns.  "Small amount" is not an accurate statement, 100% of my transactions went to security review.  I saw no other avenue, and beg others to do the same, but to complain to Watchdog as others have done, complain to governing bodies, and review EU law.   I think this issue needs to be addressed and resolved by Paypal - this is a genuine problem that a vast majority of your customers are experiencing.  This is causing hardship, and causing loss of customers for myself and others accordingly.  This must be expedited to a higher level to address and RESOLVE.   No more generic responses please - lets try to resolve this matter in the interest of Paypal clients.   Thank you. David,   This response is completely innacurate!  I for one are beyond frustrated with Paypal.  I have made three (3) withdrawals and each and every one of them has gone beyone 24hrs.  In fact it appears all three withdrawals are going to the max 72hrs.  As I use ebay to buy and sell, I have already lost one client due to the fact that Paypal is withholding everyones money.  This service is not working, and the "small amount" of transactions is a complete lie.  100% of my withdrawals have been placed on security hold.  As I have several shipments to make, these delays are losing me customers - I need my funds to be able to cover all the shipments and so far Paypal has cost me one client to the tune of 300 pounds, and looks like it may be on the way to losing me some other clients.   Other than your "stock answer" how about you really do something about these issues and resolve them effectively for your clients.  I notice there is NO delay in Paypal taking their fees from their clients....maybe if there was a way for each of us to put your payment requests on 72hrs security hold we might be seeing some sort of faster, more effective responses.   Shame on Paypal and shame on you - let's get some real answers please.  It appears you are working some loopholes to hold onto the monies longer.  I personally have placed a complaint with FSA and will be writing to Dublin for the official compliant.  This is NOT acceptable, and having tested out your theory of "small amount" of withdrawals going on hold....and having 100% placed into over 24hrs - seems your generic response is pretty much shot to hell, don't you think.  Time for Paypal to work on another generic response to the fact your clients are seeing through this scam.   Release monies people requested within 24hrs as you market. ... I had the exact same issue with withdrawals.  I was told upto 72hrs, but most clear after 24hrs.....waited 24 and no deposit - called paypal, spoke to agent they said review done sent to my bank, and they said it was my bank holding funds......called bank, they showed no deposit pending.  Called paypal and was told - not cleared will take 72rs....lost my sale and customer!  Spoke to supervisor who was very rude and was basically told, sorry if we gave you wrong info twice but cant do anything for you.  paypal really needs to get this process under control - no excuse for this poor service.  three withdrawals made - all three under review, regardless of the amount.  shame on you paypal......shame ...
