I'm curious about this topic as well. I had to issue a refund ($156) to a buyer because he was located in Australia and I specified I do not ship Internationally. At the same time I had a payment ($102) from a different buyer come in. When I tried refunding the original transaction ($156), my PayPal balance went below $0 (Naturally as I had attempted to transfer the funds from PayPal to my bank account upon payment) So Paypal emails me saying the $102 transfer has been reversed. Now the $102 is neither in my bank account or listed on Paypal - it's lost somewhere out in cyberspace. Can anyone tell me how long it takes reversed payments to be deposited back into PayPal? Thanks

I recently sold a gift card on Ebay, received Payment from the Buyer & was planning on mailing out the gift card shortly after. Until I received an email from Paypal saying my funds were being temporarily held and asking me to log in to PayPal in order to resolve the problem. They mentioned if I have not mailed the item yet, to not do so until the case was closed. So I messaged the Buyer explaining what happened and that I'm waiting to hear back from Paypal. This was 4 days ago. Still nothing. So I researched on the Paypal website what I could do to hurry things along a bit in order to get my funds released & their FAQ section suggested if they can confirm the item has been delivered or if the Buyer leaves me positive feedback then the funds will be released. Seems contradictory to me. Can someone help me with this? Do I mail out the gift card or wait until I hear from Paypal? Thanks All.
