I currently live in Germany and I'm looking at using PayPal as a way to transfer funds from my German bank account to my Canadian bank account. I have two PayPal accounts set up (one for each bank account), and I'm trying to understand what fees I can expect to pay when completing a transfer. If I understand correctly, I don't pay any fees to deposit funds from my german bank account to my german PayPal account. I also don't pay any fees to withdraw funds from my canadian PayPal account. When transferring the funds from my german PayPal account to my canadian PayPal account, I pay a 1% fee, and then a corresponding exchange rate. Am I missing anything? Also, is there a way to view the current exchange rates that PayPal uses when completing currency conversions? Thanks so much in advance.
