I believe that PayPal Here is trying to shut out the little card user with this new feature and the $149.00 charge for the new reader + and the $100.00 rebate if you do the $3,000 in the 1st month. Seems to me this is the way to get the very small user to switch to Square. Plus the Square uses a new square reader shaped like the old one no need for another (the thing) as an attachment. Any one facing the same situation and your thoughts. Thanks RR

Hi, I agree, the $149.00 charge is out of line for small users (art shows) who do not sell the $3,000.00 to qualify for the rebate. any plans to get competitive in this market segment? If not SQUARE will really take off in this small user market. I do not want to switch but may be forced to so do. Thank you for your prompt reply. Ron Ragno
