PayPal Direct Debit, How it works... (DIRECT DEPOSIT) If you have enrolled in Direct Deposit, you can pay bills for goods and services like utilities, subscriptions, and memberships using your PayPal Balance account. These Direct Debit payments are set up and authorized on a third party merchant's website or mobile application. Direct Debit payments transactions occur over the ACH network using your Bancorp routing and account number. If you want to cancel a Direct Debit payment, you can contact the merchant or reach out to customer service at least 3 business days prior to enable a stop payment. See PayPal User Agreement for more information. Direct Debit payments are not eligible for the PayPal Purchase Protection Program. What Happens if there's no Funds in your PayPal Account and you've setup a Payment to be withdrawn from PayPal? Do they automatically withdraw Funds from your Default Linked Card?
