This all happened yesterday. The buyer said that at 4pm PayPal indicated the payment was "pending", and that it could take a few hours to complete. He also said that he has $200 in the account. The amount of the payment was ~$87. Later, he emailed me and stated this: "I was reading about the pending payment on the PayPal site. It says it can take up to three days before you get paid. They have already took the money out of my account." Then, this morning, he forwarded to me his confirmation of payment email from PayPal(which was dated Feb. 3, 2017 at 3:30pm GMT. The email seems to look legit, shows my correct PayPal email address, the correct amount, and includes a transaction number. So, does anybody have an idea what is going on here? I've never had any delay when being sent payment via PayPal. Why would PayPal tell him he "sent" the money, but it not show up in my PayPal account? Is there any legit reason why PayPal might be delaying my payment? Thanks!
