Hello My brother and I registered a business in South Africa. A simple entity, under which we could trade, mostly for freelancing. This business is not actively trading, we don't have a premises, and we don't have many expenses. It's just a business that we would use to freelance under Until now I have used PayPal for my clients to pay me. The reason for this is it is the only way to get paid by overseas clients, and in some way bring that money into a South African bank account. A bank here First National Bank, allows you to withdraw funds from PayPal. It takes 7 days, and is costly, but we have limited options over here. A few days ago, I was paid by a client, and I wanted to transfer the funds to South Africa. I couldn't. Paypal gave me this message: You've reached a usage milestone, as you've used your PayPal balance to send payments exceeding regulatory limit in a year. It asked me to supply them with information. I chose the option that the account is linked to abusiness account, and proceeded to answer all the qeuestions, supply proof of company registration, asked my brother for a copy of his drivers, and submitted everything. Since then, I have been trapped in a never ending loop where I would be asked to supply a business address, this has happened about 7 times now, each time I try to submit something different to try and get them to accept it. At this stage I am not sure what to do or who to ask for help. I have money in that account, that I desparately need. Money that I earned, and that PayPal, got their share of already. I would appreciate some advice on how to settle this. To be honest, I don't think I want to use Paypal anymore. My reasons are. 1. PayPal could have let me know that I am approaching this regulatory limit 2. It's so incredibly difficult to speak to a human at paypal 3. I am unsure of what they want from me 4. When your account is limited like this it's asif no one cares 5. The stress in getting this resolved is not something I appreciate or tolerate from anyone or business entity Thank you for assisting me
