I recieved a payment of 1000 canadian dollars and want to send it to my bank in the US. Of course PayPal charged a 44.30 dollar fee for the payment and after that I have 955.70. The PayPal conversion rate is PayPal exchange rate:1 CAD = 0.761008 USD and the XE rate is 1 CAD =0.783691USD. So the conversion to my bank is going to cost me about 20 dollars. Not a whole lot but this has happened on a few occasions now. IT ALL ADDS UP! I read where I can have my bank do the conversion.. where do I do that and will it save me a few bucks?
