Hello Paypal community, I am reaching out to get some advice on some issue I've been having with an Ebay buyer who purchased a pair of shoes from me in October. After leaving a positive feedback on the transaction (saying I was a thougthful seller!), the buyer contacted their credit card company to flag the payment as unauthorised. I was told by Paypal that a proof of postage was required to give evidence the item had been delivered - I chose a standard delivery to keep the price low, as thousands of Ebay sellers do. The positive feedback left by the buyer apparently doesn't prove the item was sent and received... So I ended up paying £22.90 (cost of transaction +14 fees) for a £6 pair of shoes!! As a conclusion, the buyer got a pair of shoes and her money back, and I think they shouldn't get away with it. Also Paypal is unhelpful and thei customer service department says that it's down to me taking the risk of sending goods without proof of postage. Has anyone been in that situation? What are my options? Thanks for your help.
