Hi I added a bank account that pay”pal” (more like “ pay indifferent to your needs inked is costs them pal”) they were happy to accept the details so when I sold a item that I desperately needed the money for , I withdrew it luckily split. EXCEPT the account had one I’m wrong digit was meant to b[Removed. Phone #s not permitted]00. So the money is out there in the ether I tried explaining this to a gentleman several times who just didn’t get i then a woman, several actually until one makes promises. Now I know a PayPal promise isn’t worth the electron it’s written on. I’ve been promised 21 days this and z4 days they etc. I even contacted my bank and they said we literally can’t do a thing. I told PayPal I have corrected the sortcode error and I’d like my money back.........what do you think the response will be. I am going to record all my dealings with them until they get it right I’m not rich actually poor by modern standards, I’ve struggled with bills like we all do but this money was from the sale of a very special guitar which meant something to me, and for them to not even have the ENTHUSIASM to correct a mistake speaks volumes about this company. I’ll admit it I believe talking mental illness should still have no stigma, that’s why I write that I had a mini break down, that’s how deep this affected me. The sheer unwillingness to help to do what’s right, or perhaps not using people with English as a second language can garner More empathy and help.
