I'm creating a website so everybody can add their claim people will be able to add for how long their funds have been frozen and the amount. Also creating an area where lawyers can apply to defend our cause from each state at the EU and for the USA. The more people come forward with this actions from PayPal the more awareness will the media and the law firms will have. If we reach a significant number of users we can take this to higher court. PayPal cannot get away with this so easily we will go after their "random 72H check", against their false escuses to keep us away from our funds. Although PayPal claims that only a small limited number of PayPal accounts goes under review how come i know 3 people already that had exactly the same issue.   1st Case Excess of cash had his account closed apparently because there was a big number of transactions made at his account the reason was simple he was selling all his videogames collection at ebay to start his business result account closed and 180 days hold problem solved after the 180 days when he shout at Twitter that PayPal Stole My Money fortunately for him he became a respectable community manager at videogames developing world having contracts with nintendo, sony, microsoft, sega made him not a good case for paypal to mess with cause the retweets were starting to rain so the problem was solved after that tweet but more then 180 days later   2nd Case A friend of mine was student here in Portugal and he got a large sum from his parents to pay his 1 year housing cost and tuition fees result: paypal hold his funds indefinitely that his parents just had to ask for bank dispute in order to get the problem solved that took nearly 1 month thankfully his parents did had enough to send again by Western Union the cash.   3rd Case  A friend of mine was giving Math classes over the internet for students that were having troubles learning, one of his online students wrongly made a dispute but closed the case almost immediately but my friend was using the University VPN to access some of his teaching resources: as result the account as also banned   4th Case I recently opened a social media services business after landed a big customer my account was first limited and then closed result: refunded most of my customers and asked them to pay me in another way.   So if only a small number of cases are reviewed and closed by law of probability knowing 3 people besides me from different cities different backgrounds selling different services what i can conclude is that i can easily get killed by a thunder then finding at my closer relationships 3 cases besides mine of closed accounts. Well i still don't understand why my account got closed. And many users worldwide don't understand that too! Any way already prepared a document to send to your regulators cssf, the european comission and european central bank. There are many questions that i have for example if there is a risk associated that means that there is a rating or scoring for each account right?   Why we has merchants don't have that information?   If paypal because of the risk of potencial loss closes the account then every merchant account should be subject to a compliance and risk analysis before accept any payment on behalf that merchant. If payment received from paypal is considered a credit risk to paypal and some sort of loan to a merchant for 180 days then paypal must make the necessary capital reserves for each considered payments to follow the prudential financial risk management    If my suspicion is right PayPal does not have capital adequacy ratio above the required 8% if every transactions and payment to a merchant is considered has credit/loan. That makes and interesting perspective how leveraged is PayPal at their recent M&A operations. By summing a such huge amount customers can their solvency be at risk? Does PayPal has their provisions against a potential lawsuit/fine for abusive of dominant position i think that should be really interesting debating subject at the European Commission and specially at the Central Banks where PayPal operates because if there is a 180 days chargeback risk that is transferrable to PayPal so it means that this a loan/credit that paypal is grating to each paypal receipient.   So in this case only last year 2017 PayPal volume of transactions was 451.27 Billion Dollars if we add their pure finance operation the loans that they perform to their clients and their recent M&A less holdings that should not be considered has capital but reserves or provisions How much capital does really PayPal has? Yes we should gather all those informations i'm currently bulding an website so you and everyone can submit your case i'm presenting to a judge an injuction within the next month and requesting that paypal stops his operations in Portugal and get their website blocked. And also working with a media agency so right after we send the injuction we will send that news to every relevant media outlets news such us bloomberg, euronews, dier spiegle so it can attract the public attention. I'm also trying to find the law firm that represents PayPal competitors for legal advice on different jurisdictions and if they are willing to fund this campaign. Let's see how it goes, if 10% of the stories about PayPal on the internet are real and we can get their testimony in front of a judge i think that there is basis for build a good case against them in multiple countries and jurisdisction enough to make the awareness that keeping our money at paypal it's not safe has everybody thinks. Unfortunatly most of people use paypal (even me) only used for payments so they do not understand what is going on on the merchants side if  they did they would think twice before starting the business with this company. Hi everyone,   I'm based in Portugal Europe already found a global law firm that is whiling to prosecute PayPal in this matter the Holding funds and the random verification and the account closing and a 180 days withdraw    1st We should raise the awareness that PayPal is not safe they are taking risks at their M&As operation and it's not disclosed their funding method to do that.   2nd When we open account at PayPal we are not applying for a loan so Potencial Financial Loss that they claim should be described on each account based on their rating, background checking whatever risk management method they use.   3rd If we raise awareness to the public and specially the regulators we are pressuring PayPal to be more transparent.   4th If damages were made to business such us loss of customers, potencial profit loss PayPal must be held responsable for that.   5th Their clause against Class Action Lawsuit terms and conditions is illegal in many jurisdictions.   6th We should send to the regulators all our claims and if we send them all them they will hear us after all they want to keep the financial market safe secure and avoid another scandal that giant that was too big to fail failed they supervision.   add me on twitter @nuno_zhu so we can discuss some ideas ...
