I have been with Paypal for 20 years, without a single incident. No refunds, no cancelations, no fraud. They recently permanently limited my account. The only recent transaction was a $5 book purchase.    Rather than close my account, they keep it open. Every feature of my account is permanently suspended, except Direct Deposit INTO my account. This is clearly criminal! Why would ANYONE want to throw their money away to Paypal?    Further, they said they are taking a half a year's SSI from me. No one can take this protected money. Not even with a court order!    Of course Paypal disrespects and offends its customers with accusations and insults without proof. Is that not a libel crime? However they surprisingly responded to my BBB complaint about my permanent restriction. This is what they said:   "Paypal monitors your location at all times. If you leave that location, we do not want to do business with you ever again."   What kind of Orwellian drivel is that? Firstly, why can a Paypal customer not leave their own city? Secondly, has Paypal never heard of a VPN??? Seriously. This is just the very reason I USE a VPN. To keep companies like Paypal from spying on me.    What is the address to Paypal's legal department? I have been a loyal customer with PayPal for 20 years. I never had any problems. No fraud, no chargebacks, no disputes, nothing. I was like a ghost. After years of being denied a PP credit card, I was so excited to finally be approved! The same day, the Permanently Limited my account! Why? They will give me no reason. All because they did not like me defending myself from their rude and disrespectful agents!   The worst thing is, I receive my disability through Direct Deposit. They said I have to wait 6 months to receive my money. I need my money in 4 days! How can Paypal take my Social Security for 6 months? Is that not a violation of Federal law? Now I am going to be homeless with kids, and do not know what to do. We will lose everything! This needs to go to the news! There needs to be a class-action lawsuit! Someone should do something! Paypal should not have the authority to take my Social Security. At least SEND IT BACK! Why accept Direct Deposit, but hold it for 6 months, for no reason??? Hi. I've been a loyal Paypal customer for like 20 years, without any issues ever. I have been trying to get a PP credit card for 5 years or more, but you guys said there is no such thing. There is. And I was finally approved. However, once approved for my card, my PP account now says "We're permanently limiting your account. You can no longer use PayPal as we've decided to permanently limit your account after a review."   Why?
