I purchased some electric gate fobs from a website which gave the impression it was UK based. When they arrived, they were not compatible with my gates as they had stated. I tried contacting the company both by telephone ( they had a UK landline number) and by email but got no response. I began a dispute with Paypal. They asked me to return the item. I reluctantly returned the item to the address in Spain which was on the parcel they arrived in , marked as the sender. I sent them by recorded delivery with Royal Mail and this cost almost £10. The fobs themselves were £77.Royal Mail said they got no response at the address so the item is now at a post office local to the address awaiting collection. I escalated the dispute to a claim around the middle of October as I was getting nowhere. Now every time I check in the Resolution centre, it just keeps getting moved on by about 5 days. It is now well over 30 days old. How long could this go on? Would I be better making a claim with my credit card provider as I paid with this via Paypal?
