I want to close my account. But I find I am unable to do so. I have only 8 cents ($CA0.08) remaining and so cannot transfer it (it less than the minimum $1). If I cannot transfer this amount, I cannot cancel my account. My attempts to contact customer support have been futile.
Why not get someone to send you a couple of CAD? If they use the friends/family option and fund it with there bank account or balance they won't get charged a fee.
Then you can withdraw the funds or send the full amount (including the 8 cents) back to the sender?

Thank you. Yes, this is indeed a solution. However, I would like to do this without jumping through artificial hoops. The other issue is that it is difficult to get a hold of PayPal help. Their chatbot is useless.
