I want to close my account, but there is a "pending transaction" I cannot find.

Hello. I am attempting to close my PayPal account, however, I am currently unable to close the account, as there is a supposed pending transaction that has not processed yet. I have searched all my transactions, and even asked the PayPal Chatbot about my pending transactions, and have found nothing pending. The bot even directly told me there are no pending transactions.

 

Yet, when I attempt to close the account, I am still met with the information that there is a pending transaction preventing me from closing, despite this being entirely untrue. Is there a way to resolve this?

Check if you have any subscriptions set up and cancel them?
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''
