Everytime I make a purchase I get a warning from the app that says my card "may" be out of date. NO it's NOT! I've updated it 100 times at least! I can't update it any more accurately than that because THAT IS MY ADDRESS! Trying to contact any large company in America is a disgusting endeavor, I don't want to have a polite discussion with a **bleep** robot, or take a multiple choice test trying to locate a non-existent answer. I want to email the company my problem, not have to do all this BS & come to PayPal's 'social' media site!!! I'm not here to socialize, I have a problem with YOUR product, & would like it fixed. It's that simple. Can anyone help me with this stupid warning that pops up? I'm clearly just over this company & every one like it. Their too big to give a rats **bleep** about customer satisfaction, "oh well 🤷🏼 ♀️ if we lose a customer we'll just replace her with 18 more AND their money.

I am also having this problem. I did actually move recently, so I figured it was related. I kept getting the error message until I finally just added my old address back in. That seems to have completely broken the system and now all four of my cards are unusable.
I logged on this morning to try to figure out what’s wrong, and I see that debit card transactions will now only draw from a PayPal account balance, not pass through to my regular checking account. So now I have no reason to use PayPal at all and will probably just close everything.

Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting PayPal's Community Forum. I'm sorry to hear you've run into some difficulty with your account recently. It sounds like you two may be running into different issues, so I'll try to point you both in the right direction.
@FL_Quaintrelle, I can certainly understand your frustration trying to solve this issue and being unable to reach Customer Service. For that error message, I'd first recommend removing and re-installing our mobile app. If that doesn't work, I'd recommend looking up your address on USPS.com's Zip Code look-up. How it's presented there is normally the suggested way to input your address on PayPal. If that doesn't work, or that's already how you have it presented, our Customer Support would be your next best step to solving that error message. Here are all the ways to reach an agent with PayPal Customer Service.
@juliehi, I'm sorry to hear you're concerned about our recent update with our PayPal Debit Card's backup funding. If you're checking out with PayPal any other way than the PayPal Debit Card, you can still have your bank, debit, or credit card charged as you prefer. However, yes, it is correct that as of Sept 12, 2023 you can no longer user your bank as a back-up funding source for your PayPal Debit Card, only your balance can be used to fund it. If you're still encountering any pesky error messages as well, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Support Teams linked above for further assistance.
Best wishes to your both. I hope our support are able to assist further if needed,
- Jon K
