Paypal.me pay button error - (Something went wrong, try again later, error.)

Hey, I need to create a paypal.me pay button, it is the only option I can use to get paid through Spotify. They will not accept paypal.com pay button.
Every time I try to create a paypal.me pay button it gives me the error "something went wrong, try again later"
I have been trying all times of the day, different devices, different browsers, logging in and out, private browsing/clearing cookies and cache. Nothing makes this feature work. Is there some trick anyone knows to make the website work?

I am having the same exact issue, and I see your post is only from a few days ago. Maybe it's just been broken for a while now? I wish they'd fix it so I could make my PayPal.Me page.

I keep getting this same error. It's the only way I can connect to a few of my creator accounts and PayPal just doesn't seem to be able to get things figured out.

This is the 4th month that I've been aware of this problem that is still not fixed. Needing the PayPal.me link for my Spotify Artist profile is also my reason for needing this issue fixed. I spoke with PayPal customer service who attempted to update my link to my new legal name; because, it was still in the name I had opened my PayPal account with and I didn't want to use my FKA name on my Spotify Artist account. Even the customer service rep got the same error message. She spoke with Tech support while I was still on the phone with her and they told her they were aware of the issue and were working on it.

That was back in MAY! I'm still getting the message in blue lettering saying, "We are working to get enhance your PayPal.me link..." Seriously! I'm a Tech person. If PayPal IT can't fix a simple problem in FOUR MONTHS, they either have no intention of fixing and have yet to get the third-party to finalize whatever contract is necessary to rollout it's replacement OR PayPal IT is SO INCOMPETENT they all need to be FIRED! An issue like this should have been fixed within DAYS! Not still be broken FOUR MONTHS, or more, later!

If PayPal monitors this community, we music artists NEED YOU TO GET WITH THE PROGRAM, this is affecting the promotion of our CAREERS as independent artists!!!
