Scammed by a “buyer” and paypal sided with them.

So I was having a “friend” take payments for me because at the time I didn’t have a paypal account and needed someone to hold my funds. My “friend” was receiving payments for around a week before I decided to make an account myself. I asked them to send the funds to my account, to which they then ghosted me and refused to send the money. I confronted them and accused them of scamming, so they panicked and sent the money in goods and services. A day later, they disputed it and claimed that they purchased product from me, and that I never gave them anything. This is all false, it was my money in the first place. I decided to escalate it to a claim, sending screenshots of them ghosting and refusing to pay me. Paypal ended up siding with them, even though I provided multiple photos that show they scammed me. Is there any way to fix this and get my money back?
