My account has seemingly been permanently limited/suspended for no reason. Originally, I was temporarily limited. They asked for my ID, proof of address and bank statement. I sent all this and then I was permanently limited. Not sure how to contact PayPal to get this fixed. I cant seem to get ahold of a human, and the chat bots are really useless. I seriously have no idea what I did to get my account suspended. I have a few transactions with people overseas for things I bought from people on reddit. I guess those could look a little suspicious, but I wasn't restricted at the time that happened. I got restricted around the time I made a bunch of Bricklink purchases (a website that sells used legos). They only accept PayPal from what I understand. Those are my only guesses as to what the heck could have happened. Is there any hope of getting this fixed? I feel like I'm being treated like a criminal for buying legos...

Most common reasons for an account limitation are:-
1. You have a previously limited account (temporary or permanent) and you have tried to open a new account and not resolved the issues with the other account first.
2. Using a VPN.
3. Not being in the country where you have opened a Paypal account.
4. Being under 18 / minor account.
5. Having 2 Paypal accounts or more of the same account type.
6. Not having your legal name on your Paypal account.
7. Selling items (often virtual or digital) that Paypal consider a high risk of disputes/chargebacks OR items that violate their acceptable use policy.
8. Using the friends/family option for sales transactions to try and evade Paypal fees and risk of disputes.
9. Violating their acceptable use policy as per link.

10. Too many disputes/claims.
Its rare for a permanent ban to be appealed but if none of those then try...
