I don't usually fall for scams, but this is the first time I've ever came across doing this through paypal. The so called payer keep saying I've got to pay the £100 so he/she can get her money back. I've never asked for a business account because I don't need one. I have been with PayPal for many years but as I said, I've never had this happen before so want to know if it's genuine before I refund the so called payment. Need help please 🙂🙂 ACCOUNT STATUS: PENDING We have a problem crediting your £10.00GBP because the status of your account is not a business user which makes your account have limits. Can see its a scam from the first 2 words. Paypal don't send emails saying Dear Customer or member etc, they always say your full name eg Dear John Smith.

Secondly you never pay any upfront fee as a seller or to receive payments.

Ignore scammers that send fake Paypal emails telling you that you need to pay an upfront fee to verify/upgrade to a business account/or any other reason to accept a payment.

You would certainly never have to send funds especially via another payment processor/bitcoins/ or tokens/vouchers of any sort.

Any fee is auto deducted by Paypal at the same instant the remainder of the payment is credited to your Paypal account balance.

No funds in your balance = you have not yet been paid, even pending/held payments will still show in your Paypal account activity.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Thank you kernowlass so much for putting my mind at rest, I realy do appreciate your reply 🙂🙂 I had my suspicions when I got the first email message from a buyer from market place but wanted to make sure as I'm an honest seller so did not want bad feedback. I now know to ignore any future messages, thanks once again 🙂🙂

Thank you for asking this because I was experiencing it today. I know now to no longer proceed with this supposed interest in my offerings.

oh man this just happened to me 2 days ago, its a scam you're not getting that money back once you send it since I'm sure they asked you to send it as a friend and family method. you can try working it out with your bank, but I'm not even sure if it'll work since I'm still waiting on my bank.
