Failed transaction but no refund yet

Hello. So I had a spending limit on my account and I tried to pay for something on Fiverr but it didn’t go through and still I was debited and for more than 2 weeks now, I have not received a refund. It doesn’t even show on my PayPal transaction history. The spending limit was removed that same day. Till date no refund. What should I do? I have tried contacting my payment service provider but no positive response. Should I contact PayPal?

Is the payment showing on your PayPal account that it went through or on your payment provider account(card or bank)?

 

If the payment is showing as failed on your PayPal account then I would contact your payment provider to request that they return the funds to you. Sometimes they can place funds in a holding account in case they are requested again. If you let them know that the payment failed they should be able to add the funds back to your account. I would give them a call and ask to speak to the online authorisation department. They should be able to help resolve it for you.
