Can't pay using my debit card

I just created an Account and added a debit card they charged me 83 Rupee/. I came to know that its something they charge to know if my card is working and credintial are correct yet when i tried making a purchase its saying my cvv is wrong ? How could that be when they charged me 83rs i did that 2 times next and they yet charged me same amount and yet saying CVV is wrong i don't understand whats happening

Did you wait the 5 business days for the code to show on a bank account in your country and confirm the card?

@Aryan567 , I am facing this same issue. I got deducted Rs. 84 two times. I haven't even requested for the code though. It automatically charged upon adding the debit card

We understand your concern regarding the debit made to your debit card. If you try to add your debit or credit card to PayPal and click on confirm card then we will make a small charge to your card. The charge and the code will appear on your statement. Once you confirm your card, we'll immediately refund the charge. You card issuer will credit your balance within 30 days of the refund date. We suggest reviewing the article for more details.

 

If you feel the charge debited is incorrectly charged by PayPal, kindly reach out to our customer support team to know what can be done next or to get an understanding of the possible solution to the issue raised. Please reach out to the Support Team by clicking the contact us option at the bottom of PayPal page. If your unable to login into your PayPal account do reach us via phone and kindly select "Call us as Guest"
