Charged both my paypal balance and my bank account. USA

Hi I am new to Paypal and I just made a payment for an online service, I had some money in my paypal account balance and it says that the transaction was made between my debit account and my paypal account but now when I check my bank account it looks like it was all paid from my debit account, but in paypal I don't have a balance either. What should I do?
