Over the weekend, I tried to withdraw my Paypal balance to my linked debit card. The first attempt failed for some reason, and the money was deposited back to my Paypal balance. The 2nd attempt worked just fine, and the money was transferred. However, upon checking my bank account, I have two duplicate deposits of $104. It's as if my Paypal balance had $208, which is not the case.
When I contacted my bank about this, they told me to contact Paypal. I'm unable to dispute this transaction. I've used Paypal's AI messaging center to explain the situation, but am not able to dispute the withdrawal. I also called Paypal support, but was told by their useless AI that a representative would tell me the same thing it told me. It then took me to the main menu.
At this point, I'm not sure want to do. I'm expecting my Paypal balance to be in the negatives over this potentially. Any advice?
