Hi. A friend in the USA wants to send me a gift / friends and family payment. I live in Spain. They will send in Euros. What fee will they pay, and will I pay to receive?
As I've always understood it, to use the free friends and family method both sender and receiver need to be in the same country.
However I called to Paypal and was told that is no longer the case and there would be no fees.
But I've re-read the PayPal website fees section which is not at all clear but it seems to say there would be a fee, of 5% for the sender. Can someone clear this up?
