Receiver cancelled payment/

I sent money to someone in the US as family/friends, they called the transfer as it was showing pending, on my account it’s showing that the money has been received, and I haven’t received any email regarding a cancellation or refund. He told me PayPal will refund me in 5days, am I being scammed pls help.

You sent a 'gift' of money to someone so how can you be scammed?

You weren't buying anything or you would have used the goods/services option and not the friends/family option.

The friends/family option is a gift payment and negates your buyer protection.
