need information about business account

Hello,

We have a registered company in USA and now we are in a process of opening a bank account for this company.

Our plan is to register a business PayPal account for this company.

Could you please specify what information we should provide for it?

Would this account be registered on a company name or on individual's name (for example, on director's name)?

I've read somewhere that it was necessary to provide a social security number even if it was a company business account. Is it really so?

Best regards, Anna

The process requests the new PayPal account owner's name, valid email address, business name, address and business customer service contact information.

After email verification, you'll need the following to verify account to lift sending and withdraw limits for the account:

Bank name
Business bank and credit or debit card account info
Bank routing number

EIN (for company/business), ITIN (for those who are not eligible for a SSN), or SSN.

They've gotten rid of Premier accounts so there's only personal or business accounts one can open, so if you're an individual opening a business account for lets say freelancing, you provide your SSN.  But if you are a company, you submit the EIN.  IF they really need PayPal account owner's SSN, which is entirely possible, they'll ask for it later I suspect.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
