I want to use my PayPal Balance but PayPal don't let me, only from CC!

I am trying to buy a fairly expensive product on a web store.

I have balance at paypal which is about half the value of the product, and then pay with my connected credit card for the other half.

But when I am trying to pay, PayPal complains about there's not enough money, and I examined, and I saw that PayPal only let me pay with the Credit Card, not using the Balance. I tried to change the payment option, but only get chance to add more cards. Not using existing balance.

I can't use all the Credit Card as it is actually Debit card without credit and I do not have more fund for that to use it as single source. So I want to COMBINE the two one.

Could it be different currency? I thought PayPal would convert to match?

Webshop currency: GBP

PayPal currency: USD (I use USD for 95% of my transactions so that's why!)

Credit Card currency: SEK

I found a solution myself.

I had to create a new balance in Paypal, GBP and then transfer internally to that one.

Looks like PayPal can only convert once, and not convert two different currencies and merge.
