Can I send an invoice that once paid will release a download link for a product

I have a zip file with some large graphics, I could host it pretty much anywhere but I'm open to suggestions. I just want to get paid before releasing my work. I don't really want to create a button on my website for this because it's only going to be used once for this client. Thank you!

Just send a PayPal invoice which fully describes the work IN DETAIL.

Caution, however, as you will not have seller protection for digital work; there will be no delivery tracking.  Buyer can claim non-delivery or something else and generally win.

To make it a physical item, send it by mail on a CD.

Just evaluate the risks carefully and understand PayPal dispute policies.

But how do I send the download link after the sale. Is there a redirect after payment?

No redirect.

Just send the file as an email attachement or send the link with an email.

Either way, there is no record of delivery and buyer can easily file for non-receipt or some other issue to get a refund.
