Does closing Paypal account also close Smart Connect?

This may sound like a dumb question, but as the thread name states: Does closing Paypal account also close Smart Connect?

I am done with Paypal and will close my account very soon...i was just wondering if i had to do anything else.. or is that's all i need to do? I just need to pay off my Smart Connect balance first...

Probably best to call PayPal customer service for a direct answer.  Click on the contact link at the bottom of the page.  A phone call with one-time passcode is the best option.

I would, but i don't feel like being on hold for 30 minutes like I usually am

I guess the other option is to wait days and hope another member gives some ideas, but may not be accurate as they wouldn't be from  PayPal.

Your option, wait 30 minutes for a direct answer or wait days for various opinions.
