Hi! I'm currently implementing PP recurring payments using ExpressCheckout and need to receive IPN message if recurring payment would fail (buyer hasn't enough money, refuses to pay etc).
And here is an issue: I have an error while trying to update NotifyUrl at sandbox and CreateRecurringPaymentsProfile function doesn't receive NOTIFYURL parameter (source). IPN tool at sandbox hasn't option of recurring payments and references are incomplete.
So, could you give examples of real IPN answers on recurring payment fails?
Thanks in advance

Hi carioprint,
Sorry, I don't have an example of an IPN response for a failed recurring payment but I recommend asking on the PayPal Developer Forums.
There's a discussion board dedicated to IPN and PDT in the developer forum.
Instant Payment Notifications (IPN) & Payment Data Transfer (PDT)
Another option is to file a ticket with our Merchant Technical Support about the notify_url setting not working in sandbox.
Sorry I don't have the specific answer but I hope this helps to get you on the right path towards resolution. 🙂
