International transfers

Hello, I have a PayPal account and want to transfer funds to an international account I have i Australia - can i do that or is only to US accounts? Thanks,

I also would like to use Paypal to transfer funds to a bank account I have in Europe. I've been digging around the site looking for an answer, with no luck.

Can Paypal be used in this way?

Me too! I am trying to transfer money from paypal (US -where I first registered) to my bank account here in Malaysia. There is no option (at least on the US site and I can't access any other site) to add a non-US bank account.It doesn't seem possible. Ive written paypal but their responses are not specific and don't anwer the question. I thought the whole point of paypal was to access to funds anywhere. If not, I might as well use Western Union. Old fashiioned but at least I can get the cash. Any responses? Thanks and take care.

I also encountered the same problem when I transferred money outside the US. My relative already set up her PayPal account and received the transferred funds in PayPal, but she cannot register her non-US bank account so the money is on a standstill. Furthermore, they are unable to contact the "outside-US toll-free number" for assistance. How do we resolve this issue?

I dont think there is an option to register a non-US bank account IF you originally signed up for your paypal account in the US. I think that you can only register a US account on the US site. I cant even start a new paypal account here in Malaysia as the page I open to do so refers back to my US page. In the end, I refunded the money that was sent to me and asked the sender to send it via Western Union. This policy of US bank accounts only seems small-minded and US -centric considering that it would be a very easy matter to arrange a non-IS account.

And the funds have been sitting in paypal since 11 August! I cant use my US bankcard at  the moment. So it was just sitting there before i refunded it.
