My debit card will expire. Will it affect sending payments to other paypal members?

I only need to use paypal to send money to other paypal members. I also retrieve money from my bank account. Is that all done by my banks debit card or purely by bank account transfer?

Just worried when my banks debit card expires all these features will stop.

I'm guessing the only thing that I will not be able to do is purchase things on such sites like eBay and Amazon?

Thanks in advance.

If your card expires you will still be able to use your bank account however to make payments as an instant bank transfer you will need to have a back up funding source on there (i.e. card).

payments will go through as an echeck otherwise which can take 5-7 working days to go through.

Howver you will still be able to top up your paypal account with the bank account on there so you can make payments to ebay or wherever instantly from the paypal balance to wherever.

hope this helps!

Ok gotcha. I wont be able to do a instant transfer with paypal 3% fee and have to do the 4-5 day transfer correct?

There's no fee for sending an echeck, it's only really receiving money that costs.

If you top up your balance using your bank, you can get payments to go through instantly from PP rather than a bank echeck.
