Well, there are a number of ways to do that. Do you have already have a buyer ready to pay that just needs to send you the money via PayPal? If so, you could login to your PayPal and use the Request Money tab to send them a money request.
If you're selling on eBay then you just need to make sure your PayPal account is configured in your eBay account settings.
If you're selling on a website you could create standard buttons using the Merchant Services tab in your PayPal account.
Let me know exactly what your plan is and then I give you a more direct answer.

I read your reply to another poster. I am selling tickets on ebay for the first time. If I get a buyer, how do I know the payment is good (ie the card won't bounce) before I transfer the tickets? Can pay pal certify a good payment?
Thank you,
P

If the payment comes through with the status of "Completed" then you know the funds are good. If it has a status of "Pending" for any reason then you would to wait until you see it change to Completed.
A completed payment means the funds are in your PayPal account and can be transferred to your bank or spent directly out of the account (assuming the funds weren't placed in a hold of some sort.) This does not guarantee that the buyer won't submit a dispute (chargeback) with their credit card company, though.
You'll want to do your due diligence to communicate the buyer so that you feel comfortable in the first place, and then make sure you ship via trackable carrier service with insurance and signature required. That way, if the buyer does submit a dispute you have proof that you delivered the product and should at least get the tickets back if the card company awards the buyer a refund.
