Accidentally used Pay for Goods and Services instead of Send to Family and Friends. What do I do?

I was trying to send a hundred dollars to my girlfriend but i accidentally clicked on the Pay for Goods and Services button without noticing any difference. Then I realized what I had done when there was a fee attached to the delivery of the money. I did not want to pay this fee, nor did she, all i wanted was to send her the money.

How can I get this issue resolved the fastest?

Thank you all in advance.

Since it was for goods and services just ask her to go to the transaction on her PayPal activity page and issue a full refund.  You'll get your transcation fee back, but not the $0.30 fixed fee.

After the refund, re-send as friends/family.  You might have to wait each time for the transaction to complete.

If it was an accident why are we still charged $.30? The full amount should be refunded. I am going through this now.

PayPal does not refund the fixed $0.30 fee when a purchase payment is refunded.  There is no exception stated in the user agreement.  Whether it was on purpose (you did go through the steps to confirm) or by accident (your fingers accidently high the wrong keys) is irrelevant.  It was an approved payment as goods/services and the fixed fee is not refunded.

I was the receiver of the money so I didn't cause the accident. I think it is very unfair and would like a call from management please. Once again, it was NOT my error.

PayPal does not call; you call them if you want help.
