Change Payment Method for Subscription

I have a debit card and a Paypal credit card attached to my account, and when I subscribed to a monthly subscription, the payment method was not presented to me and it defaulted to my debit card. I would prefer that the subscription be applied to my Paypal credit card instead. Is there any way to switch the subscription over to the Paypal credit card instead of my debit card attached to my checking account without cancelling the subscription?

I closed the debit card ending ****.Never thought about closing it before,due to the fact it's a prepaid visa card.I haven't used that account since June or july 2014.The only card I want for Paypal is tnded with ****. I'm sorry about the big mess and taking up your time with this.

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click the settings icon next to "Log out."
3. Click Preapproved Payments under "Payment settings."
4. Click the name of the merchant for the agreement you want to change.
5. Click Change in the Payment Method section.
6. Select the payment method you’d like to use.
