How long does it take for my family/friend to receive my payment?

Hi. I owe a family member $2400, and we agreed to transfer it through paypal (using the family/friends option). I was hoping the transaction would be instant, so they could see they received it right when I send it. About how long does it take for them to ACTUALLY receive it? Thanks!

yeah usually instant , sometimes take a few minutes or hours but should still within an hour unless you fund the money using eCheck which will take 3-5 business days
