I recently linked my bank account and I have confirmed the account (meaning PayPal sent 1 cent to my account with the 4 digit code to type in to verify the account. I have physically seen the 1 cent on my statement papers and typed the code in). The card is a maestro debit card issued by Sparkasse (in Germany if that would help in anyways). <removed> There is the proof of a confirmed bank account.
When I go oline and buy something through the paypal account it says that I need to add a bank or credit card even though I have already linked a bank.
When you confirm a bank account, you get test deposits and you enter the amount of the deposits in the Wallet for the bank account. But for cards you get test charge with the 4digit code that you enter to confirm the card.
Did you get those two mixed up? Did you confirm the debit card and the bank account?
I think I must have mixed them up. Because I remember putting the code in, and not the value of money. I have only done the process once.
When adding a bank account so I can use it online, do I do it through the IBAN (http://imgur.com/a/ajEKP) or through the account number + bank code (http://imgur.com/a/1k2Z2)? Keep in mind that it is a debit card.
