I'm a new user to PayPal so it might just be something I do not know but I had somebody send me a little bit of money today but when I check my balance it still says there is nothing there. I even received an E-mail from PayPal saying so and so sent me x amount of cash. Does it take time to authorize or something? I haven't connected a card or bank account to my account yet so is that the problem?

look into my activities,payment received,is it there?
is it in same currency as y our account?
