Hello,
Out of desperation I am making a post here. I don't know what else to do.
Paypal imposed account limitations on my business account. I've sent them all the necessary documentation to get the limitations lifted and according to my account page Paypal has everything they need. But nothing happened and my account has been effectively locked for weeks now, and my money along with it.
I've sent Paypal numerous emails but they do not reply. I tried to contact them by telephone but either the number is unreachable, the call gets dropped or I get put on hold for hours. Calling a US number from abroad is not cheap and this is cost me a lot of money.
I don't know how to proceed. I have bills that need to be paid and I can only do that through my Paypal account. I pay Paypal a lot of money in fees for their service. I never expected that they would behave like this.

Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Update: I've been contacted by a PayPal employee and it looks like things will be taken care of.

Thank you for your reply. I contacted PayPal on twitter and facebook but they are not responding there as well. All I get is an automatic reply: please contact us by email. Like that is not what I have been doing for WEEKS now. This is infuriating.

What finally got you contact with a human? I posed a question on the facebook page and on paypal.com. They refuse to address it, I just get the standard help topics sent to me.

Same. I've been on hold with Customer Service for 4 hours 32 minutes (and counting) have emailed, tweeted, posted to Facebook and PMed on Facebook. At this rate the pending transaction that I need assistance with won't be pending when they get to it. I'm SOOOOO frustrated.

You have to wait a few days for them to get back to you on Facebook etc.
