Hi, I'm trying to purchase an app from the Play Store and while trying to add my PayPal account as a payment method it gives me an error. Error: Something went wrong. There was an issue adding your PayPal account because it is locked. I'm not sure what that means or how it can be "locked" because I just used it yesterday to pay for a Steam game and it was fine then. So if anyone has a solution for this please let me know, thanks.
*EDIT* I removed 2-Step verification from my PayPal and now get a different error: "Something went wrong. There was an issue adding your PayPal account because the payment method selected on PayPal was invalid."
**EDIT** I added a credit card to my PayPal then logged into PayPal on the PlayStore successfully. Immediately after the successful login I removed the credit card from my PayPal account and was able to make the purchase I wanted with my PayPal balance.
