Withdrawal Delay - New Zealand Specific

Hello everyone,
I see there are a number of people whom are based in New Zealand in both these community forums and scattered through the FaceBook comments of PayPal's FaceBook page complaining of a delay in the reciept of their withdrawals.
This appears to be affecting a variety of banks and applies to multiple withdrawals, I myself have made 3 withdrawals in the last 8 days and have yet to see one.
Has anyone fom NZ had any official communication back from PayPal regarding this? I haven't seen a straight answer in the FaceBook comments and automated responses are the only direct replies I'm getting.
Any constructive feedback would be appreciated.

UPDATE 19:50 - 13/09/16 - Issue still not resolved.
UPDATE 09:00 - 13/09/16 - Just spoke with PayPal customer service and they have aknowledged there is an issue with withdrawals and are working on a remedy 🙂

G'day Ash,
I'm somewhat disturbed by the delay too. I've been waiting the "5 to 7 working days" for a transfer now. It better show up today or it'll be outside that limit.
I can't remember ever waiting longer than perhaps five days in total to see my money arrive in my bank account before, in fact I'm used to seeing the money in around three days normally. I hope that Paypal aren't going to shift to 'target' times like NZ Post....

I have been waiting NINE DAYS (7 working days) so far to see my funds in my account and still nothing, and no response from paypal except a standard automated reply which was very unhelpful.
This is very frustrating. The other way around we would get charged fees!
But thanks for letting me know, it would've been nice if Paypal had've let me know a week ago. Not impressed.

Same here. The last successful withdrawals we made were on 2 September, received on 5 September. Nothing since then and no notification of any issues by PayPal. This money will soon be needed to pay suppliers 😞

Yes I have the same problem. I have 9 payments which were completed in their withdrawal which have not arrived in my Bank account. Two from 12 days ago.
I have spoken to the Australian number I found on their Facebook page and they say there was a problem and after 4 days of being given the brush off it was a huge relief. I hope they get it resolved as I had to advise my customers on my website not to use Paypal due to safety concerns. My business is struggling with nearly 2 weeks worth of turnover missing and I have had to advise Timely bookings that I can not use their service at this time either.
A lot of stress and hassle, I hope they sort it out soon

My $$ are miniscule in comparison and fortunately I have other funds to call on. Withdrawal from Mon 5 Sept still not in my ASB Bank account as at 3.30pm Tues 13th . I have left this week's amount in PP until problem is sorted so at least I know where the $$ are!

Well it's been nearly 12 hours since this issue was verified to me by PapPal and there's still no sign of a resolve, nor an official statement on the situation at hand.
The optimism that my bank account will be credited in the morning is dwindling.

Hi ...... what with the recent post on STUFF now and the various posts on FACEBOOK, it looks like we have an issue in NZ. I posted on another PP Community page, that was ranked and listed on Google. I must say, since dealing with Paypal since 2011 they have been good, 10 large payments transfered to us in the past 90 days, normally in 24 or 48 hours, the processes were getting faster and more efficient, as they should. We withdrew on the 5th Sept and are still waiting and have done another today. I have found one post from Paypal on the main forum page offering an explanation .... lets hope they rectify efficiently and quickly. I have spoken to our bank and accountant and the issue is at the paypal end, it is a glitch.
