Why won't PayPal accept my bank name?!

I'm trying to link my bank to paypal so that i can add a new debit card.

My bank is chase and when i put chase or chase bank under where it asks for 'Bank Name', it says 

"The bank name you have entered is invalid or missing. Please try again."

I've entered everything else correctly

Try using PNC BANK, OHIO

You might try changing the suffix for different states.

I had to call them to find this information

It was doing the same to me.  I called Paypal and the correct name is JPMORGAN CHASE

JPMORGAN CHASE is still not working for me....

i submitted an email to support. maybe my chase is named diffrent? idk. maybe ill call my branch?

If you go through your main Paypal account page and add your bank account that way, it won't ask for a name.  I found this answer on another thread and it worked!  It will also show you the name of your bank, so that is helpful.  Mine is BB&T but they have it BB and T - GA.  So...yeah this was really annoying!  Paypal needs to do something about it.

please let me know how to enter bb&t bank on pay pal!! my husband and I won a bid on a wedding ring and the owner is expecting payment by Tues and it will not take BB&T as a bank name and Ive tried all different ways of entering it. its crazy. i see others hv had this issue. please help asap
