Does paypal no longer include purchases through Goods and Services over $100 in the 6 month no interest promotion?

PayPal Credit is very selective and will only be offered you your financial situation, the product, and seller situation all quality.

You will know that when you are offered PayPal Credit as a payment method at time of purchase and payment.

You cannot predict when this will happen.  PayPal evaluates a lot of risk factors each time, including your own creditworthiness which should be extremely high.

OK, DPCreations, I've seen you give this answer to several similar questions. Do you realize how crazy it sounds to be approved for a line of credit, and then having to wonder if it will be usable for a given transaction?  They don't check your credit for each purchase. That is completely wrong. It says so in the PP Credit FAQ section, even.  It is an APPROVED CREDIT LINE that should be able to be used - end of story. Security checks are great, as no one wants fraud.  But when it gets denied at each point of sale online, and requires a phone call of 30+ minutes to resolve (or not be resolved at all), there is a serious problem. A quick search of google shows hundreds of results with complaints similar to this one.

For anyone evaluating whether to apply for PayPal Credit, don't bother. It is too much work to use it., and not worth the 2-point hit on your credit score for the inquiry.  I should be able to use a financial service I am approved for. That's all it comes down to. I got PP Credit to help with move-related expenses such as hotel rooms, and the promotions were good. Now I have to wonder whether or not I'll be able to book a hotel room each time, because of their ridiculous computer system that flags just about everything, and is unable to be over-ridden by management.

And PS, you make it sound like PayPal credit is as hard to obtain as a Platinum American Express card. It's not. Look on Credit Boards. People with less than 700 scores have been approved. And only 10% of the US population has a credit score of 800+.

@TSI

PayPal Credit is NOT like a credit line from a bank and PayPal Credit has the right to deny purchases which it deems not qualified for whatever reason it decides when the risk is perceived to be too high.  That's just part of the policy one accepts with PayPal Credit.

If you want a guaranteed credit line, the best to use a bank credit line which provides printed checks for use.
