PayPal canceled claim in favour of ruling for refund, after I sent back item

Hi, I had a claim that PayPal ruled in my favour. Last night they sent the email for me to return merchandise for refun, and enter tracking number. This morning, I sent the item through Canada post, and submitted the tracking number within minutes of paying for postage. 2 hours later, I received another email from PayPal, starring the tracking number I provided was invalid, and they were unable to confirm delivery, and therefore cancelling claim. The tracking number I provide was correct, and valid as packing being accepted by Canada post. Why did this happen? Am I now out of luck? No refun, and I already mailed the item back to seller? Where do i go from here?

Phone customer services and see if you can appeal their decision >>>

Click on the words "Contact" at the bottom of your paypal account summary page and use the phone option (if there is one in the country you are in) > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent or say the word "agent".
