My patience has worn thin, too. Been trying to resolve an issue for three weeks now, and tonight was the last straw--I had one customer service agent serve me the same, canned non-explanation for a problem, then tell me that I shouldn't bother asking him to transfer me to anyone else because "they'll just tell you the same thing." I asked him to escalate me, and I waited on hold for almost an hour, re-verified my entire account profile, and we began to resolve the problem, which seems technological. Then the call went dead.
Did I get a call back? It's a reasonable expectation; he had my account information. But no--he didn't. After 3 hours on the phone with Apple, only to determine my issue is a PayPal one--then to be insulted by PayPal. It seems crazy they make money off the volume of our transactions, but like, oh--Facebook--they seem to only want build it and profit from it--not make it transact safely, acccurately and efficiently.
