Hi, I have been trying to change my PayPal password, but I an challenged to enter my full bank account number. The problem is that there are so many numbers that I don't know what to use.
The first is the number that appears on my statement, which is a 12-digit number in the aaa-bbbbbb-ccc format.
The next couple of numbers that may be relevant are my bank and branch numbers. Bank number is 024 for Hang Seng and branch number is 278 for Hung Hom. Finally, there is a 6-digit code that appears on my bank account card before the bank account number in this format xxxxxx.
If anyone would tell me how to format this information correctly, I would be greatful. I have tried several times adding just my 12-digit bank account number, but it keeps rejecting it. I don't want to hit the 10x failed attempts and be locked out of my account trying to change my account password to something longer.

When entering a Hong Kong bank account, you should haveseparate fields for bank code, branch location, branch code, and account number. The account number should be 6-9 digits long. If you're uncertain on any of these numbers, you'll want to reach out to your bank and ask to speak with their processing department. Double check the numbers for external ACH transfers.
Thanks!
Adrian
