I don't know which type of PayPal account to have. I do surveys online and would like to get paid, but I'm not sure of what type of PayPal Account to have? Should it be a Personal or Premier?

Please help.

Thank You & God Bless,

Heather

 Hello HeatherRiordan,

I would suggest a Premier PayPal account which is primarily used for individuals who buy and sell online.

Here is the direct link for more information about Premier accounts and how to get started (or upgrade your PayPal account). I hope this helps.

We are a 501C3 charity, and we are just setting up our web store.  So we are not operating under a private social security number.  We are a business.  Can we still have a premier account?  We will not be buying online at all.  We just want to use Paypal to get money for purchases on our webstore.  Our Website says we need a Premier Seller's Account.  Is that different from a Premier account?  The other options they say to look for don't display under the profile tab.

Hi refugeesew,

I recommend going with a Business account.  Then you can enter your TIN (instead of SSN) and also have payments to you show under your Business/Organization name.

Hi Misty, I have a similar situation. This members question caught my eye because I too have a similar situation. I also do surveys and have my "reward points/dollars" are deposited into my account. Which is cool and it goes there like it's supposed to. I've been sent e-mails previously from PayPal to get "Verified" for better security and to use my account. My problem is that I just want my account to be simple, Put money in take money out (puchase's online once in awhile). I don't want my PayPal account tied into our (wife & I) checking account. My wife handles our checking account (I tend to **bleep** things up when I put my hands into the pot) and I keep my paws off. I thought PayPal wanted this information so they could "verify" my information and prove that I am who I said I am. Could you give me some advice on how to keep the account separate?
