Unconfirmed stated in a shipping email

Long time with Ebay & PayPal. Checked both addresses and they match. Ebay has the first letters of my first and last name capitalized and for many moons PayPal does not. Tried to rectify this MANY times, to no avail.  But, both sites do say I am CONFIRMED. Tracking emails say I am UNconfirmed. Would like to fix this for possible future problems. Thanks for any help.

I guess your shipping address is not located in the U.S, right ?

  I have been with eBay for a long time, but new to Paypal...  my Paypal Acct says my home/ship address

is Confirmed...  I do have the 2 accounts Linked (says this on eBay) and my transaction went through perfect.

I received an eBay email from my seller (I have ordered from her for years, before my Paypal acct)

 that my items were shipped, and I noticed next to my ship to address it said Unconfirmed.  

So, since this came from an eBay email, I am thinking the problem is that my address is not 

confirmed may be on the eBay side.  

     I cannot find on ebay ( in My eBay )  anywhere  where it says

either Confirmed address or Unconfirmed address....  have you seen this info in your eBay account somewhere ?

I  put this same question earlier under "eBay" and I hope I receive some help ...Am afraid other sellers

who I haven't dealt with before may not accept my bids/orders because of this...

Sorry, apparently "Most addresses outside the U.S. can not be confirmed at this time." not entirely correct. Even with a U.S. address was apparently still unconfirmed as well.

This unconfirmed statement comes from PayPal right? Comes not from eBay and other merchants. And those emails content like this:

I do not know about PayPal email contents are sent to the merchants/sellers, anyone can upload it? does also contain the same information about this unconfirmed thing?

I guess as long as it comes from PayPal and not from the merchants/sellers, can be ignored. 😄

Hi GFischer !

    This happened to me also...  This is what I  did :

 I found out that  if you have linked to your eBay account, your eBay Primary Shipping address ( in My eBay )  must match exactly to your Paypal primary ship address...  even if your Paypal address says confirmed... 

    Even though my Paypal shipping address was Confirmed,   my eBay email that I received that my item was shipping out... showed my ship to address as Unconfirmed because of part of my zip code... 

     On eBay, I had entered  just the first 5 zip numbers, but eBay (by default) adds the +4 numbers to it .. 

 (  12345-1234 ).....  when I had entered my ship address on Paypal (which is also my CCard billing address ) I also only entered the first 5 numbers...  so it differed from my eBay primary ship address just by that. 

   Because eBay defaults to the 5 zip number  + the 4 numbers I could not edit it there....

      So I went to my Paypal address & clicked edit,  and added my  -1234 numbers there AND >>

  ALSO MAKE SURE YOU CHECK  THE BOX BELOW THAT ENTRY to also make the  change for your credit card billing address ...  

     I am going to be making a purchase soon...This should fix my problem as it was the only difference between my eBay and Paypal shipping addressess...... and I will leave a post to let you know if my next  eBay email  also says my address is confirmed.    The addresses Must Match Exact - Just ONE small thing and it is Not a Match-

Just to update.. I put in another purchase off eBay and my address is now confirmed in both places.  So be very careful and check every letter and number and even  periods and commas and dashes/everything... make sure they match EXACTLY... looks like everything counts...  and looks like paypal is checking to make sure the shipping/billing address you put for them matches eBays Primary shipping address ( when you go to MY eBay  and check all the addresses they have... the Primary Shipping is the one to look at.  And ebay won't let you remove those  additional +4 zip code numbers (that THEY add by default), so if that is your problem and you have the  XXXXX-XXXX  in that ebay address... you will have to add those numbers into your Paypal shipping address AND check off below that to change your credit card billing address also....
