My iOS PayPal app is in Spanish and there doesn't seem to be anywhere to change it back to English. I have an intermediate understanding of Spanish and am able to navigate the settings in the app enough to see that there does not appear to be a language choice section.
My account settings are set to English so I'm not sure what has set the app to Spanish. I was in a Spanish speaking country for a couple months recently so maybe that triggered the change. Is there any way to manually change it or am I going to have to delete the app and reinstall on an English speaking IP address?

It's worse
I just upgraded from iOs8.x straight to iOs 9.0.2
Paypal changed to Spanish, the second language on my list after English.
I went to setting >> Language and deleted Spanish. My phone screen went black. I called and it rang but I couldn't answer.
I found this https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3763 and it worked.
Paypal was now English.
I went back to languages and set Spanish as the second language. It said "updating languages" and went black again.
I repeated Apple's suggestion and Paypal is back in Spanish.
Is this a Paypal or an Apple bug?

I had the EXACT same thing happen. Phone wouldn't switch back on after language settings changes!
I have tried everythig. French is erased from phone settings I have deleted app and re-downloaded to no avail. Online settings are set to English and always have been. The second bug is that the onlne page also shows in French unless I switch to the old layout version. Ths is really annoying.

I have 2 accounts and one is working fine and the other has completely switched to Chinese. All my settings are still set to English so there's not obvious reason why the one account is sending ALL EMAILS and ALL PAGES in Chinese now. Also, Paypal has no way of reporting this to them for a fix. Very frustrating. When I first got the emails I thought they were spam and not the actual emails I need for reporting.
I checked my language settings on my iphone and they are all still set to English. It's not an ios problem. It's a paypal problem.
